A TAKEAWAY restaurant in Tottenham was robbed by a teenager earlier this month.

The raider who was around 18 years old was buying food when he attacked the 37-year-old owner of USA Fried Chicken in White Hart Lane.

He grabbed money from the till and ran out of the shop and down Love Lane.

It is unknown exactly how much was taken.

The robbery took place at 3.45pm on Thursday, May 2.

The robber is described as black African-Caribbean, about 6ft tall, of proportionate build and wearing a black hooded top, black jeans and white gloves.
