A WOOD Green woman was shocked to find a man trying to break into her home with a crowbar when she opened her front door

The 32-year-old went to the door after hearing a noise at around 12.30pm last Tuesday.

When she opened it she discovered the would-be burglar. She shouted at him and he ran away without stealing anything.

The man is described as white, about 20 years old, tall and stocky, with a shaved head. He was wearing a black T-shirt and spoke with a London accent.
