Police appeal after boy is shot in head with air gun

A NINE-year-old boy had a lucky escape after he was shot in the head from an airgun.

He was playing on the corner of Worcesters Avenue, Enfield, when he felt the pellet hit the back of his head. Doctors at Chase Farm Hospital found that the pellet had glanced off his head without causing serious injury.

The incident happened last Wednesday just after 7.30pm.
