Cops target drug dealers

POLICE have stepped up patrols in a Wood Green street troubled by drug-dealers.

Action has been taken to combat the problem in Crescent Road following complaints from residents about drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.

The complaints were taken up by Haringey Liberal Democrat Leader Lynne Featherstone and Alexandra ward Cllr Susan Oatway who conveyed concerns to police.

Cllr Oatway said: "Cresent Road is at the heart of what should be a very quiet residential area and we need to keep it that way."
