Man briefly kidnapped

A MAN who was the victim of a temporary kidnapping believes he may have been picked on because of his haircut.

The Mohican-styled man was walking bare-chested along Forest Road, Walthamstow, at around 3am on Saturday when he was approached by four men in a car.

One of the men is believed to have shouted out "look at the state of you" before getting out of the car and confronting the man with a knife.

The knife was held to the victim's neck and he was told to get in the car. After driving 100 yards down Forest Road, the thugs threw their victim out of the vehicle.

The 'kidnappers' were driving a white hatchback car.

A police spokesman said: "The man seems sure that he was picked on just because of his Mohican haircut."
