Phone robbery

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two men robbed a woman of her mobile phone in Arundel Drive, Woodford Green, on Tuesday afternoon.

The men, both black, also tried to snatch the woman's handbag but were unsuccessful.

Though left shaken by the incident, the woman escaped without injury.

Anyone with any information about the incident, which happened at about 5.15pm, should ring PC George Avery on 8345 3433.
