Gun gang take car

A MAN was threatened with a gun and hit over the head with a metal bar before his red Ford Escort was stolen by three men.

The man was sitting in his car at the junction of Shernhall Street and Lea Bridge Road, Walthamstow, at about 7.40pm on Saturday, when a black Ford Sierra pulled up behind him.

The driver pointed a gun at the 26-year-old and ordered him out of his car.

The man was then hit on the head. He was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital for treatment.
