Thugs beat cab driver
By Leyton and Leytonstone GuardianA CAB driver needed 15 stitches in his head after being beaten by a man following an argument about the fare. The cabbie was taking a passenger from Leytonstone to Walthamstow when they had the dispute. After dropping off the passenger, the driver returned to his cab office in Blackhorse Lane, Walthamstow, but the passenger later arrived with a friend and began beating the driver and hitting him with a metal bar.
