Booze nicked

OPPORTUNIST thieves stole seven cases of spirits from a delivery lorry parked outside a Palmers Green pub.

Four cases of Smirnoff Vodka, one case of Bell's Whisky, one case of Bacardi and one case of Jack Daniels was taken from a Blue Leyland Daf lorry on Friday.

The thieves swooped at around 10.30am when the driver left the lorry unlocked and unattended outside the Dog and Duck pub in Hoppers Road.
