Handbag theft

A 76-year-old woman had her handbag stolen as she walked near the Sainsbury's store in South Street, Bishop's Stortford, at 1.30pm on Saturday. One of the robbers was of foreign appearance and spoke in broken English. She was wearing dark clothing and a black head scarf. Her male accomplice was white with dark hair.
