Woman attacked

A WOMAN was beaten up and robbed in the street by two youths in Winchmore Hill.

The 28-year-old suffered cuts and bruising after the attack on Saturday in Stonard Road near the junction of Avondale Road.

The attackers pushed the woman to the ground and kicked and punched her before escaping with her handbag containing her mobile phone and £100 cash.

Residents who witnessed the assault which happened at 11pm rushed to her aid and police were called to the scene.
