Bike gunman strikes

A GROUP of schoolboys were threatened with a gun and made to hand over their mobile phones by a 15-year-old on a BMX bike.

The friends, all aged 13, were walking along Falmouth Avenue, Highams Park, at 5.30pm on Monday, January 13, when they were stopped.

The BMX bandit showed the handgun to the boys and threatened to use it unless they handed their phones over to him. He made them look down at the pavement and wait for two minutes while he made his escape.

Police are looking for a white man of medium build with blond hair, 5ft 8ins tall, wearing a black jumper, blue trousers which looked like tracksuit bottoms and a dark blue cap.
