Victim 's cellar ordeal

A MAN was forced into the cellar of his house while thieves stole his cash at the weekend.

Two men forced their way into the house in Melford Road, Leytonstone, around 10.30pm on Sunday and threatened to kill the 71-year-old man before pushing him into the cellar and leaving with £230 in cash.

One of the thieves was described as black, 19 and 5ft 7in tall.

The other was white, around 19, 5ft 7in and wearing a black jumper torn at the side and a scarf around his face.
