Pretend plumbers grab £500

TWO men posing as plumbers gained entry to a 93-year-old woman's home in Leyton and stole £500 in cash.

The men persuaded the woman and her 62 year old daughter to let them into the house in Bloxhall Road, Leyton, around 4pm on Saturday.

One man is described as 25, with a slim build, short hair and an Irish accent.

The other is around 40, 5ft 10ins, of a slim build. Witnesses can call the Leyton crime desk on 8529 8666
