Police make arrest over £1m drugs haulDETECTIVES have arrested a Leyton man who allegedly had £1m worth of heroin, which he intended to supply. Officers from Waltham Forest police joined forces with the National Crime Squad to arrest Rumen Sinitchiyski, 39, at his flat in Lea Bridge Road, on February 13. The man, a Bulgarian national, was allegedly in possession of 15 kilos of heroin. He was charged with conspiracy to supply heroin and possession with intent to supply heroin. He appeared at Walthamstow Magistrates Court on February 18, and will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court in April. Two men from Manchester were arrested in November as part of the same investiagtion.
