Ghost pub

The Crown and Horses pub in Enfield has been the site of at least two sudden deaths, one in 1816 and the second in 1832. On one occasion witnesses saw the apparition of an old woman pass one of the windows.

Another time the ghost was seen inside the pub, despite the fact that the building was closed and locked.

The sounds of banging doors and footsteps have been heard. It is unfortunately not known who the apparition is, but it is assumed that she had something to do with one of the two deaths.
