Model backs teen footballers
By Chingford GuardianA TEENAGE football team based in Chingford has been given new equipment to help them train after a donation from a glamour model. The model, known simply as Paula, spent £300 on new football equipment for Puma 2000 FC's under-16s squad after a friend of the team asked for her help. She said: "It's great to be helping them. I think they're lovely lads. The coach of the team just said the boys needed some pieces, such as training bibs." The team trains at Blades Football Ground, off Chingford Mount Road, and is now hard at work for its new season using the equipment which includes footballs, cones and goal posts. Model Paula is currently filming a documentary with LWT about her life as a glamour model. She said: "The film crew were out with me last week. It will be on TV in September and the show is all about glamour modelling." 15:23 Thursday 5th September 2002
