Chicken run

A shoplifter escaped with 11 packs of chicken fillets from an Enfield supermarket.

The man, who appeared to be around 22-years-old stole the packs of meat worth £2.99 each from the Co-op in Lavender Hill last Monday at around 2pm.

He narrowly escaped injury during his getaway when he ran in to the path of an oncoming car. He then made off across the road.
