History on show

THE rich history of Walthamstow school pageants is the topic of an exhibition held by the Walthamstow Historical Society. The exhibition at Walthamstow Central Library runs until Saturday, February 1.

The school pageants ran from 1930 until 1934 after Walthamstow gained the status of borough in 1929.
