The word from Night & Day is: don't write us off just yet. The game looked up when the ITV soap saw its three tea-time episodes axed.

But the late night Thursday edition is putting on viewers up 300,000 in the past month and there's now talk of extending the show beyond its proposed finishing date of next April.
