Inquiry to discuss proposed travellers' site

By Guardian reporter

A PUBLIC inquiry is to be held into plans to use land in Epping Lane, Stapleford Tawney, as a private travellers' caravan site.

The hearing will hear views on the enforcement notice issued by Epping Forest Council for the development that has been carried out without planning permission.

The application is for change of use of the land at Birch Field from a horsekeeping-agriculture use to a private travellers' caravan site and the storage and distribution of furniture.

The hearing is at the Civic Offices, High Street, Epping, from Tuesday, November 11, until Friday, November 14.
