Man attacked by three robbers

A MAN was threatened with a knife, had racial slurs shouted at him and was punched by three robbers who stole his mobile phone and �140.

Police said the man was walking along Leytonstone High Road when he stopped to roll a cigarette. The men approached him and asked for cigarettes and a lighter from him, but when he refused they robbed and beat him.

The robbery happened at 2.15pm on Monday, September 22.

All three men are described as Eastern European, 27 years old, 5ft 10ins tall and had foreign accents.
