Search for news of grandfather

FOR many years I have been trying to trace my grandfather or any of his relatives, my grandfather being a resident of Leyton until at least the 1940's.

His name was Laurence Arthur Hunt and he was married briefly to my grandmother Lily - they separated before my father was born, and I am sure that Laurence never knew of the existence of his son (Richard).

It is my father's dearest wish just to know what became of his dad - even just the smallest snippet of information would be treasured.

My grandmother never married again and has recently passed away, and was all the family apaprt from myself that my dad ever knew.
