By Guardian Reporter Tim Henman made his way with ease into the third round of the Wimbledon Championship yesterday, defeating unseeded Frenchman Michael Llodra in three sets.
After a shaky start to the tournament, needing four set to beat 'Lucky Loser' Tomas Zib in the first round, Henman was confident and assertive in his second round match, reaching a final score of 6-4 6-4 6-3.
Henman is now the only Brit left in the tournament, after all UK's women competitors were knocked out in the first round, and only a handful of men made it into the second.
Greg Rusedski crashed out on Tuesday after a false line call from the crowd - made by a man identified by the BBC as 29-year-old accountant Evaldas Zilionis, from Kingston - caused him to lose a point, his concentration, the third set, the match, and a 1,600 fine for use of sweat words on Centre Court.
Henman, tenth seed, will now face unseeded Swede Robin Soderling in the third round, and is then expected to face sixth seed, David Nalbandian, in the fourth round.
